How do I request an appointment?
You can request an appointment through the secure client portal. After submitting a request, you may be asked to complete intake paperwork and review practice policies before your first session.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Samantha Welsch, LICSW provides online therapy for adults located anywhere in Washington State. Sessions are held through a secure telehealth platform.
Do you provide therapy throughout Washington State?
Yes. Samantha provides online therapy for adults located anywhere in Washington State. You do not need to live near Seattle, Bellevue, or Carnation to work together.
Do you offer therapy outside Washington?
Samantha is licensed in Washington and provides therapy to clients who are physically located in Washington at the time of session.
Do you offer clinical supervision?
Yes. Samantha offers clinical supervision and consultation for therapists in Washington seeking support with case conceptualization, ethics, documentation, boundaries, burnout, and clinical growth.
What insurance do you accept?
Samantha accepts private pay, Premera, and Regence, and can provide a superbill upon request.
What are your private-pay rates?
Initial sessions are $190. Ongoing 55-minute sessions are $150.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether the fit feels right. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.
Do you offer online trauma therapy?
Yes. Trauma therapy is available online for adults throughout Washington. The work can move at a pace that supports safety, trust, and steadiness.
Do you work with anxiety and panic?
Yes. Samantha works with adults navigating anxiety, panic, overthinking, chronic stress, intrusive thoughts, avoidance, and OCD-related patterns.
Do you work with self-worth and people-pleasing?
Yes. Therapy may include work around shame, self-criticism, boundaries, communication, people-pleasing, and building a steadier relationship with yourself.
Do you offer couples or family therapy?
No. Samantha currently provides individual therapy for adults and clinical supervision for therapists.
Can I send sensitive information by email?
For your privacy, please do not include sensitive clinical information in standard email or website messages. Appointment requests, intake paperwork, and client communication are handled through the secure client portal.
What if I am in crisis?
This practice is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.
