When anxiety overlaps with OCD patterns or intrusive thoughts, trying to fix the thought in the moment can make the cycle stronger over time. Therapy can help you notice anxiety patterns, build tolerance for uncertainty, reduce avoidance, practice grounding skills, and relate to anxious thoughts with more flexibility.
